Professional electricity meter Shelly Pro 3EM 400A

Short description

Shelly Pro 3EM-400 (Device) is a DIN rail mounted three phase energy meter. Enhanced with all the flexibility of gen2 software and LAN connectivity, it provides professional integrators with additional end-user solution options. It can operate standalone on a local LAN and/or Wi-Fi network, and can also be controlled via cloud home automation services using MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket. All incoming connections support TLS.

The device reports real-time accumulated energy, as well as instantaneous voltage, current, active and apparent power for each phase. It stores data in non-volatile memory, which can be retrieved for up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals.

The device has a real-time clock to maintain the correct time if the connection to the SNTP server is lost.

The user can connect to the Shelly Pro 3EM-400, configure it and monitor it remotely, and the device can also connect to and communicate with an automation system if they are on the same network infrastructure.

The device has a built-in web interface that allows you to monitor and control the device, as well as adjust its settings.

Please note! The device does not have a built-in relay. The contactor is controlled using the Shelly Pro accessory connected to the Shelly Pro 3EM-400.

* The device has phase sequence error detection circuits. This detection is based on phase voltages and only considers zero crossings. The correct sequence of these zero crossings is phase A, followed by phase B, followed by phase C. If instead the sequence of zero crossings is phase A, followed by phase C, followed by phase B, then when the phase sequence error is enabled, the phase sequence error detection options are reported.

** If the total load of the three channels drops below 30 VA per channel, the measured power level will be displayed, but the consumed energy will not be accumulated in the energy statistics, and a No load threshold message will be displayed on the device's web interface and mobile app.
