Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM Mini is a device designed to control and monitor
Short description
The device is a small form factor smart switch with power measurement. It controls the on/off function of a single electrical device with a load of up to 8 A AC, such as a light bulb, ceiling fan, or infrared heater. It is compatible with switches (by default) and buttons.
A switch/button is connected to the input terminal SW (SW1).
If SW (SW1) is configured as a switch (by default), each switching of the switch will change the state of output O (O1) to the opposite - on, off, on, etc. If SW (SW1) is configured as a button in the device settings, each pressing of the button will change the state of output O (O1) to the opposite - on, off, on, etc.
A switch is connected to the input terminal SW (SW1)
If SW (SW1) is configured as a switch (by default), each switch toggle will change the state of output O (O1) to the opposite - on, off, on, etc.
-
To change the switch position once: Change the state of output O (O1) to the opposite state and send a command to the associated devices of groups 2 and 3 (see section Z-Wave Association ).
The switch-monument is connected to the input terminal SW (SW1)
If SW (SW1) is configured as switch memory, then:
-
Switching to a closed switch-monument contact: Change the output state O (O1) to the on state and send a command to the associated devices of groups 2 and 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
-
Open switch memory contact: Change output state O (O1) to Off state and send command to associated devices in associated groups 2 and 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
Button connected to input terminal SW (SW1)
If SW (SW1) is configured as a button in the device settings, each press of the button changes the output state O (O1) to the opposite - on, off, on, etc.
-
1x click : Change output state O (O1) to the opposite and send a command to associated devices of groups 2 and 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
-
2x click : if the delay between the first and second click is less than 500 ms, it is interpreted as a double click. Send the command to the associated devices (regulators, blinds,….) in the associated groups 2 and 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
-
Stop : sends a command to associated devices in associated group 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
-
Release : sends a command to the associated devices of group 3 (see section Z-Wave association )
Device electrical interfaces
Inputs
-
1 switch/button input with screw terminal
-
2 power supply inputs on screw terminals: N, L
Exits
-
1 relay output with power measurement on screw terminal
Additional interface
N/A
Connectivity
Z-Wave - Insecure, S0 Security, S2 Uncertified Security, S2 Certified Security
Security features
Overheating protection
-
turns off its relay
-
sends a notification report to the gateway (overheating detected)
-
wired lights react as above (check the flashing mode when overheating is detected)
Each of the following actions clears this alarm: power cycle, short press of the S button, pressing any switch button connected to any SW (SW, SW1, SW2, …) terminal.
NOTE: Overheat protection is always active and cannot be disabled.
Additional description above in the Overheat Detection Notification section .
Overcurrent protection
The device has internal overcurrent protection. If the current exceeds 16 A + 10% (maximum switching current +10%) for more than 5 s, the device:
-
turns off its relay
-
sends a notification report to the gateway (overvoltage detected)
-
the LED lights respond as above (check the LED flashing pattern when overcurrent is detected)
Each of the following actions clears this alarm: power cycle, short press of the S button, pressing any switch/button connected to any SW (SW, SW1, SW2, …) terminal.
NOTE: Surge protection is always active and cannot be disabled.
Additional description above in section Notification of detected overvoltage .
Surge protection
The device has internal overvoltage protection. It is valid for a standard 230 V AC supply voltage. If the voltage exceeds 240 V AC + 15% (278 V AC) for more than 5 s, the device:
-
will turn off its relay
-
sends a notification report to the gateway (overvoltage detected)
-
the LED lights respond as above (check the LED flashing pattern when an overvoltage is detected)
Supported load types
-
Resistive (incandescent bulbs, heating devices)
-
Capacitor (capacitor batteries, electronic equipment, motor start capacitors)
-
Inductive with RC snubber (LED drivers, transformers, fans, refrigerators, air conditioners)
